A little about me
A little about me
Before starting my career, I served as a Peace Corps Community Economic Development Advisor in the Dominican Republic and as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer. During my service, I saw firsthand how community leaders often struggled to find the time and resources needed to tell their stories and build support for their work.
Intent on expanding my toolkit to better support leaders like those I encountered in Peace Corps and AmeriCorps, I joined the Community Leadership program as a Peaceworker Fellow at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. There, I spent two years immersed in Baltimore’s communities, learning from the leaders who call this place home, and studying the tools that help move social change forward.
Since then, I’ve worked with social impact organizations across the affordable housing, criminal justice, and health advocacy sectors on communications strategy, impact evaluation, and fundraising, helping them build internal systems that allow their work to operate more effectively.
These experiences have strengthened my commitment to community service and my dedication to partnering with others in their efforts to build a better future. If you’re interested in working together, I'd love to connect.
